The SMT, SSW and SCW Series make up Seiwa's line of AC power supplies. AC welders are an economical choice and can accommodate the welding of a variety of diversified products.

Our AC power supplies features microprocessor control providing repeatable process control, highly sensitive rapid response, and voltage supply correction. Programming is accomplished quickly and easily.

SMT and SCW Series feature a current monitor that enhances the weld quality and permits high reliability for automatic stations, providing an economical and labor saving option. Four weld schedules can be programmed and stored, facilitating multiple applications at a single work station. The digital display improves precision when programming the weld parameters.

AC WELDING POWER SUPPLIES

Half Cycle Welding Mode The SCW Series has the ability to weld with one pulse in voltage compensation mode, and one pulse in secondary constant current providing consistent, repeatable results. This unique feature allows the operator to program the weld pulses in different feedback modes. For example: When projection welding, the pre-pulse sets the weld in line using the voltage compensation mode. The second weld pulse using the constant current mode will grow the weld nugget. The external thyristor allows the control to have a broader range of power than most AC controls, making it an excellent choice for large or small scale AC applications.
