FOLLOW-UP MECHANISMS
Seiwa Pressure Follow-Up Mechanisms are designed for rapid,
linear follow-up during the collapse phase of the spot weld.
Low inertia design of the moving parts, the shaft electrode and
the electrode block, provide for rapid movement as the weldment
collapses during the nugget formation phase of the weld. Each
of the various types of follow-up mechanisms below is designed
for a specific type of weld and there are multiple force ranges
available for each type shown.
The Pressure Follow-Up Mechanisms are designed to mount on the Seiwa
Head Driving Units, Model ZH-32, ZH-50 or Model YH-25.
